Parents:  Students ALWAYS have homework assignments in my classes.  They will either have to read/review notes from class, read selections from the textbook, complete Review Questions at the end of each section of every chapter, study for quizzes or tests, or complete worksheets/class work.  Also, on some occasions, they will have projects to complete as well.  If they are telling you that they NEVER have homework, it is an untruth.

Also, parents, if your child is absent and does not make up the assignment or test within one week, they cannot make it up later in the quarter.  No makeup work will be given during the end of a quarter for work that is past one week late.  Students must have either a doctor's note or an excused absence to make up ANY WORK.

Parents:  You should also be aware that if your child has missed too many days, they are in danger of failing due to absences.
